Preserving the Power: 5 Power Rangers seasons superior to Mighty Morphin' (Part 2)

5. Lost Galaxy

In 1998, the original story of teenagers with “attitude” led in a battle against evil by Zordon came to a close. While the story was brought to an end with the understanding that “In Space” would be the final season, its ratings ultimately bounced back and led to the order of a new season.

Holiday Hiatus and the Foreseeable Future

I'd like to thank the loyal readers that have been following me since Crit Hit's overhaul nearly 3 months ago. Life has kept me busy and although I fight my hectic schedule to keep to my due dates as much as possible, knowing that people actually care about my opinion enough to read me makes all of the chaos worthwhile.

However, there's only so much chaos one can stomach. With impending college graduation less than 5 days away, my schedule will be going through some major changes and with that in mind, I decided to lay out the future of where Crit Hit lies within these changes.

Preserving the Power: 5 Power Rangers seasons superior to Mighty Morphin' (Part 1)

In 1993, the very first episode "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" was broadcast on FOX. Its provision of cheap and accessible superhero action in live action helped to make it an institution of many 90s childhoods, mine included.

Maintenance

Apparently this post originally didn't publish on time so now damage control is doubled. Terrific.

Computer has been down for maintenance this weekend so no Fromage Fridays but I'll be back up and running tomorrow so expect the conclusion to Young and Stupid this week and more.

"Young and Stupid" part 2 delayed to Thursday

Unforeseen workload circumstances have forced me to delay the next segment of "Young and Stupid" by a day. No further delays will be made but I will further make up for the missed deadline by posting an extra segment next week.

Sweets and Horror: Sharing Personal Halloween Classics

Oh sweet Halloween, the purest holiday of them all. No pretense of sharing love or appreciation through excessive commerce and gluttony, no vague societal push of political agenda or environmentalism, just sweets and horror.

Powerless and Irresponsible: How “The Amazing Spider-Man” Fails the Superhero Genre Part 4 (Finale)(Spider-Man himself)

In the pursuit of the almighty dollar, Sony executives have directly involved themselves within the creative process of filmmaking and managed to succeed in turning their golden goose into a perfectly focus tested money grubbing machine so blatant in its regard for the contents of audience wallets that it has ironically repelled the very people that they have tried so desperately to attract.

Fromage Fridays #4: Tekken

From “Mortal Kombat” to “Dead or Alive” to “Street Fighter,” the unfortunate reality is that to date, the only thing that the watchable video game movies have in common is that they’re so bad, they’re spectacularly entertaining.

Powerless and Irresponsible: How “The Amazing Spider-Man” Fails the Superhero Genre Part 1

Ten years ago, the name “Spider-Man” was synonymous with trailblazing in the superhero genre. Today, it’s barely even respectable enough to bring up in the same sentence as the numerous successes in the genre that it helped to pave the way for.

'Return of the King' finale delayed until Friday

It pains me to have to announce that the fourth and final installment of my celebration of Godzilla will come 2 days later than I had anticipated. Unforeseen circumstances have slowed my work on the end of the project which is nearly complete but requires substantial polish before it sees the light of day, which must be done after a slew of errands that have popped up on my schedule.

While I'm striving harder and mostly succeeding to stay on tighter deadlines, this is a project that means quite a bit to me and I would rather get it right a few days later than get sloppy in the name of punctuality.

It's the least I can do to honor a 60 year legacy. In the meantime I sincerely hope that you, the reader, find the final product to be as worthwhile in the end as I found it engaging to craft.

Return of the King: Celebrating Godzilla’s Triumphant Return - Part 2

It occurs to me that amongst fans, I may have something of a rather divisive opinion regarding certain eras of Godzilla's history. To any of my fellow kaiju fans, know that I have a healthy love and respect for Godzilla as an entity both at his highs and his lows.

All comments and discussions regarding disagreements are welcome. Just know that the opinions that I hold are opinions that I hold solidly and I will happily discuss disagreements, if I am approached to do so respectfully. I respect anyone's right to enjoy or dislike whatever entries they so choose that I may not necessarily agree upon.

Just remember, any reactions I give will carry the same amount of respect the question itself shows me.
