Younger and Wiser: Update
Greetings beloved Readers. This just a slight tweak upon my original schedule posted earlier in the month. As you all know, the original posting date for my look at the "Divergent" phenomenon in Younger and Wiser was initially scheduled for tomorrow by the time of this posts release.
What many of you probably don't know is that the original schedule that I had assembled for that workload was assembled before I was approached for content production by Black Texas. Black Texas is a lifestyle magazine for people of color in Texas. Check them out for various cultural insights and lifestyle tips as well as a peak at several reviews that I've yet post here on the blog.
What does this generally mean for Crit Hit? Not much negatively in the long term now that I'm finding a flow to publishing for 2 sources simultaneously. In the short term however, it does mean that I've had to substantially alter my production schedule on short notice at a work heavy period for my day job.
I'm putting my finishing touches on Younger and Wiser as we speak but my desire to give it an extra editing pass while having to split that time between prep work for the upcoming Crapshoot 2018 leaves me more than a little strapped for breathing room.
As such I've decided to give it a slight delay to Friday instead. While I hope to not make these sort of delays a regular occurrence, I value a sense of quality in my final product and if any of you follow the release patterns of a certain YA franchises, you'll know giving it a Friday release would actually provide a rather significant tie-in to something releasing in theaters this week.
With that having been said, I'm hoping you're looking forward to "Younger and Wiser: Divergent Revisited" on Friday January 26 along with a certain timely review to follow it up.
